Mr Segaran.. the kite man

An evening of supposedly chasing Sunsets with my friend Nic, turns into a very educational learning journey about kite.. Power Kites, thanks to a great knowledgable man name Segaran.
We stumbled upon this wonderful man as we were walking around the big field at West Coast Park, a great leisure area for many of the surrounding residence.

It was very easy to get attracted and be curious of what type of kite Mr Segaran was flying. This was mainly because of the more Parachute-like kite that he was manuvering, rather than the conventional diamond shaped kites that we saw flying haplessly by young couples and families. His kite flew majestically over the blue skies of West Coast Park.



He explained to us about the type of winds to fly this powerful kites and how he ordered most of the material through internet, mainly in the UK. I was marvelled of how technical it was to just fly a kite.



As his body twist and turns, like a ballerina in the open green field .. he handles the Kites passionately. Flying them to their full potential.. and making fine tune of the line riggings along the way.

Thank you Mr Segaran for the short but wonderful experience into the world of Power Kites.
